Cookie Policy

Effective from August 23, 2026 · Version 2026-08-23

Every cookie this site places on your device, what it does, and how long it lasts. Required by Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC.

This document still contains placeholder details. Fill in shared/utils/legal.ts before making the site publicly available in the EU.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. The law here covers not just cookies but any storing of or access to information on your device, including localStorage and similar techniques. We use none of those others.

Some cookies are needed for a site to function at all. Those may be set without asking. Everything else needs your prior, informed, freely given consent before it is set.

Categories we use

Strictly necessary: without these the site cannot deliver the service you asked for. They are set without consent, as Article 5(3) ePrivacy expressly permits.

Analytics: not in use. We run no analytics or advertising cookies at all. The category is listed only so that the choice is already available to you if we ever add one — and it will remain off until you switch it on.

Full cookie inventory

This is the complete list. There are no others, and no third party sets a cookie through this site.

nuxt-sessionThis siteKeeps you signed in. Encrypted and sealed; readable only by the server. Set only after you sign in.Strictly necessary7 days
nethound-langThis siteRemembers the interface language you selected, so you do not have to pick it again on every visit.Strictly necessary12 months
nethound-consentThis siteStores your cookie choice and when you made it, so we neither ask you on every page nor lose your decision.Strictly necessary6 months

No third-party tracking

The site loads no external scripts, fonts, videos, maps or social buttons. Our webfonts are self-hosted, so simply opening a page sends nothing to any third party.

The one outbound connection is the donation flow: when you confirm a donation your browser is sent to the payment provider's own site to complete the payment. That only happens after you click, and only if you choose to donate.

Changing your choice

You can review, change or withdraw your choice at any time. Withdrawing is as easy as giving it, as Article 7(3) GDPR requires.

Controlling cookies in your browser

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will sign you out and the site will forget your language, but the public pages will still work.
